Cuma bila tulis Bahasa Malaysia, jadi macam ni lah. Agak kaku. Dan kalau guna Bahasa Malaysia yang terlalu pasar, nanti rasa tak hormat bahasa kebangsaan pun timbul. Mungkin kalau sikit-sikit okay lah lagi, kan. Nak bahasakan diri saya ke, aku ke, pun jadi masalah. I have to admit, it is much easier when writing in English. I can use the word 'I' and won't feel weird at all.

Middle east lunch for Woon Shin's farewell
A colleague from Admissions department, Woon Shin's last day in IMU was last Friday. My manager wanted to have a farewell lunch with her as she had been working with us for quite a lot of time when involve Admissions department. We decided to go to Al-Diafah, a middle east restaurant in Sri Petaling for her farewell lunch together with Kak Liza and Jacinta.
Al-Diafah is a very nice middle east restaurant, from environment, decorations up to the food that they serve. I've been there for a few times including another colleague's farewell last year and dinner with mummy. I like the decorations so much it makes me feel like I'm in the Arabic countries.
We ordered Mandy Rice and few dishes like kebab and salad. I like their Lamb Kebab but too bad only me, out of us five pax, eat lamb... so Chicken Kebab it is.
Chicken Kebab
Vegetable Tagen
Hummus - served with pita bread
Mix Salad
Falafel
Right below this restaurant, on the groundfloor of the building, there is a shop owned by the same owner where I always go to get my mango juice supply (imported from the middle east) and the nice kurma juice. They also sell middle east famous fruits and dessert like fresh dates, baklava and dried apricot as well as souvenirs and kitchenware.
I know I said this is supposed to be a farewell lunch. But my apologies since more food photos were captured than the one we celebrated. Hehe.
Puan Norma, Jac, Kak Liza and Woon Shin.
So anyways, all the best to you, Woon Shin. Hmm...how do I deal with Admissions to get things done, to prepare for anything without you... Sobsss.
Wanna check out Al-Diafah for celebration lunch or just a simple romantic dinner? Visit www.aldiafah.com.my for more info! Located at Jalan Radin Anum, Sri Petaling and opens from 11.00 am to 12 midnight, honestly, it's worth trying!

Family tree
Yesterday, one of my cousin asked for my great-grandmother's name. I thought her name was Maria. I recheck just now on Geni that her name was actually Masnah. Maria was my great-great-grandmother.
I didn't remember Geni to have limited family members' name in one's account. I haven't sign in to Geni for quite some times. But now I just realized that they have this limited number of family member for free account and if you want to add more, you have to buy the paid account package. *sigh
Talking about Geni.com, I can't remember exactly how did I find out about the website but I've joined Geni since years ago. Before Geni, I managed to get the late family members' name starting from great-great-grandparent from my grandfather and I drew my own family tree but I lost it anyway -___-" So when I found out about Geni, I was so happy to know that there is an easier way to keep record on the family and to build a family tree. So I went back to grandfather and mum to collect information on my maternal family members. I had a feeling that grandfather might be talking to himself "Berapa kali la nak bagi budak ni senarai nama-nama semua..dah la kene ingat balik satu-satu..." Ngehngehngeh.

Since I've reach the free 100 family members, I can no longer add the latest family member, my nephew, Nur Khaleef Ridzki. *sobss* Sorry Khaleef.. Tunggu aunty kaya sikit nak beli paid account nanti aunty masukkan nama Khaleef dan sesape lagi lepas ni yer...

Madagascar 3 movie night out!
Our management is being so kind to treat the staff to watch the Madagascar 3 as one of the employee engagement activities (and to make us love working there more and more, I guess. ;p) So anyway, since it's a free movie pass and free popcorn, of cos I wouldn't say no. More over, it involved my favourite Alex, Marty, Melman and Gloria!
So there we were last Friday, gather at the GSC IOI Mall, Puchong for the Madagascar 3 : Europe's Most Wanted. IMU staff were given free ticket and a popcorn and mineral water combo. While staff who brings their immediate family member will have to pay only half of the ticket price.

Thanks Jasmine and Anna for organizing the IMU Movie Night on behalf of the ILoveWorking@IMU Committee ;)
Along with her heroes - Harris and Hadief
Budak kedekut Coke tak nak bagi orang rasa.
The get-together was fun. It felt good to see the IMU family faces with their family outside the work place. Suddenly it felt like there was no burden to see their faces like how it felt whenever I see some of them coming towards our department door as there were always things they needed and some will bring news like "we want this by the end of today" -_____-"
But for the movie, I don't really enjoy it like the previous two prequels. I found it less entertaining comparing the first and second movies. But I think most of the staff enjoy the movie as e-mails kept coming in later after the movie saying how good the movie was, and how the moral value of unity, trustworthy and leadership are in accordance with the IMU core values.
Anyhow, thank you IMU management for the movie.

IHH Healthcare Berhad Initial Public Offering (IPO)
Before the top management of IMU make official announcement on IHH Healthcare Berhad (the holding company of IMU health, Parkway Pantai Limited and Acibadem Holdings) going public listing in the Bursa Malaysia, I was actually informed about this by my Uncle. I guess businessman reads more on the business section than a non-businesswoman, me. Hehe. I have never actually know what is all this share and stock and so on and so forth is all about. Not until the President of IMU finally announced of the listing last few weeks that I google informations on shares and IPO.
To cut the story short - with Khazanah as IHH's major shareholder - today, 4 July 2012 marks the date of the IHH prospectus launching and is due to list on July 25.IHH's IPO for the Malaysian public, directors and employees has been fixed at a retail price of RM2.85 per share.
As for IMU staff, we got ourselves allocated shares under the reserved shares tranches. Of course we may choose to apply for the entire allocation, a part of the allocation or none of the allocation. As I have no knowledge and experience in the shares thing, I seek for advise from few people. Most of them give positive feedbacks on the IPO. In fact, all of the people say I should take it.
So here comes the process - opening CDS account, loan application, bank draft application, apply for the share etc. All need to be done by next Monday.
Another new experience. A good one, I hope.
Bismillahirrahmannirrahim.

And so it begins...
It's just a few days away from Ramadhan and yes, I know everyone is already getting busy with Raya preparation. Kan? Kan? :P
I went to Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman on the last weekend of June and man, the traffic was VERY VERY bad! I guess most of them are out doing the last-minute-before-puasa-plus-gaji-baru-keluar shopping. Some shops along Jalan TAR have even started playing raya song when I went there again last week. Haishh.
So anyway, I am one of them who got everything ready even before Ramadhan came. What am I getting ready for?
Oh yeahhhh! Bought all the stuff needed for the (so called) famous Julia and Mummy's pineapple tart! Can't wait to warm up the oven this puasa! Hehe. I'm all excited when it comes to cookie baking for raya. Hehe.
Due to tight schedule with everything else, me and mum will surely need to find a whole-day free weekend for this. If no ones ordering, then there'll be no rush. Still waiting for my one and only customer to place her order though. :P

Taste of Malaysian fruits
One thing I like about this employee engagement thing is that we get everything for free. After the free tickets and pop corn Madagascar 3 night out, yesterday we got to eat Malaysian local fruits for free! I did not plan to join as I had a meeting scheduled to be finished at 5.30pm and I don't like the idea of going home late as I would be stuck in the traffic congestion. But since the meeting finished so much earlier than expected, and I kind of fall for the Chancellery sisters' persuasion, so I went to the pesta buah tempatan.
I am not a huge durian fan. But to eat durian and other fruits with friends, lots of friends, is actually fun. I was looking forward for the mangosteen tho. One of my fave! Anyway, I had fun, thanks again management for the durian, rambutan, mangosteen, jackfruit and dokong!
Sebab tu Abg Sarip layak jadi best staff - so gentleman kopek buah durian untuk kami. Tak mcm yg tukang tgk tu je. Ngeh ngeh.
Muka happy dapat makan buah :p
Oh, since we were too excited too eat the fruits, I forgot to take the photos of the untouched fruits. then by the time I finished eating and washed my hands, the ones left on the table was only this...
Chancellery's only. *sigh*

Dugaan di bulan Ramadhan
Semalam pagi-pagi masuk ofis terus siap2 kene pegi Kuala Pilah, ada pegawai KPT nak visit Clinical School sana so bos suruh ikut dia pegi. Agak teruja sebab dah lama tak pergi Kuala Pilah, sejak meninggalkan KMNS dalam 2004. Semua org duk cakap dah tak lalu Bukit Putus, so dah tak pening-pening.
Semalam, masa nak pergi tengok polis bulatan Jalan Othman, PJ. Jalan sesak la sangat. tak pasti pulak kenapa jalan ditutup tu.
Sampai MQA agak lewat dari waktu perjalanan biasa.Hantar dokumen tak sampai 3 minit, terus nak gerak balik ofis. Pening jugak x tau nak ikut jalan mana sebab jalan nak masuk ke Jalan Klang Lama tu tutup. So decided nak ikut Federal Highway jugak dengan jem teruk tu. Dah dapat agak sampai ofis lewat punya lah.
Sekali sampai kat hujung Jalan Gasing, depan gereja dan KWSP, betul2 kat trafffic light before masuk Federal Highway nampak bas rosak. Merungut2 la dalam kereta kat Kak farhah yang ikut sekali, cakap bas rosak tgh jalan patut jem bla bla bla. tiba tibaa....... tup! kereta mati enjin! pas tu try nak start tak lepas. ingatkan mati enjin sbb terlepas clutch ke.. maklum lah bawak kereta manual. try start x boleh, ingat x free gear ke apa2 la. sekali memang betul2 x boleh start. xde bunyi yg macam bateri low ke apa. memang x boleh start!!
lepas dah tung tang tung tang try check bateri panggil mekanik kat blakang Shell berdekatan (pastu dia cakap dia busy xleh datang tengok, sengal je penat tau jalan kaki melintas pi Shell tu) last2 decide call Am Assurance, tu pun lepas 3-4 kali diorang main pas pas nombor mane ntah. So tunggu la technician datang...Masa tu dah pukul 4 lebih kot.
And kalau bateri dah weak, mesti ada signal2 seperti susah nak start 2 3 hari, mati tetiba pastu tapi boleh start balik dulu dan lain-lain lg.. so kami pun tunggu je la dgn pasrah nak tau kenapa kereta mati tetiba and x nak start langsung!
Dia sampai dah pukul berapa ntah. Pastu dia kata bateri kong habis kering kontang. UNBELIEVABLE!! Seperti yang dikatakan tadi, bateri tu tak sampai setahun pun blablablaaa. And kalau tau la memang hal bateri, baik tadi pegi Shell/BhP beli bateri tukar sendiri x payah tunggu berjam2 orang tu smpai. Aaarrgghh!
Dah setel tukar bateri semua masa tu dah pukul 6 lebih dah, pastu kena pusing2 carik bank nak bayar kat technician tu sebab cukup cash nak bayar bateri tu. Lepas tu pusing2 carik surau pulak sbb tak Asar lagi. Semua petrol station area PJ tu memang tak ada surau ye? Nasib baik pusing-pusing last-last jumpa Masjid Tun Abdul Aziz. Lepas tu baru carik petrol station balik carik air untuk get ready nak berbuka. Maka berbuka lah kami dalam kereta atas jalan kat area PJ tu sambil mencari jalan pulang ke Bukit Jalil. Kesian Kak Farhah sbb kereta parking kat sana, so kene ambik kereta dia dulu baru boleh balik. sekali lagi meredah jem teruk..
Sampai Bukit Jalil, singgah beli nasi lemak depan ofis sebab petang tu mak msg kata suruh beli kan apa2 sebab dia x beli makanan. tak bajet pulak anak dia tak masak sbb stuck tgh2 jalan kereta rosak kan.
Sampai rumah dah pukul 9 lebih malam dah.. Drive pun dengan tak larat nya.. Tapi sampai je depan rumah tetiba tersenyum kejap.
Sebab apa?
Lampu 7 likur dah mula pasang menandakan dah masuk 10 malam terakhir Ramadhan. Teringat masa kecik-kecik lepas berbuka berebut2 nak tolong atuk pasang lampu ni. Lepas tu selang 5 minit intai kat tingkap tengok kot kot api terpadam, nak nyala kan balik. Memories... :')
Al-kisahnya, pukul 10.30 malam baru makan sebab tunggu mak balik terawih dulu.. Dugaan..dugaan... Alhamdulillah semua selamat.
Tapi masih tak puas hati kenapa bateri lama dulu pakai sampai 2 tahun lebih ok je tapi tetiba bateri ni boleh cepat sangat nak kering kontang tak bagi signal pulak tu pppffffttt!!!

The Annual Iftar with Girlfriends
One of the best break-fasting sessions I had every year would be the annual break-fasting sessions with my lovely girlfriends. You know how some little things might look little, but actually touched your heart the most? I have one very touching memories of the iftar with girlfriends in 2010 when I had issues of coming back home for the annual session. I love you girls lots you knowwww :')
So anyway, we had our iftar on the Friday, 3rd August 2012. Except that this year, it should be call "Iftar with Girlfriends..and families". Yes... we were celebrating the first appearance of husbands and FOUR babies during the iftar! Last year, there were only us ladies, with three of them were pregnant and this year, four of them came with husbands and babies. We had always to go Little Penang Cafe, but due to not-so-comfortable to bring in babies' stroller etc., we needed to find somewhere else. After several discussion of where to go what to eat - we've decided to go to Pizza Hut, a place for (mostly) all. :P

I miss....
I miss hanging out lepak makan tengok wayang window shopping doing outdoor activities blablabla. I feel like I haven't watched any movies since ages!
I miss tweeting. I miss being a Twitter addict. I miss holding my phone while having meals, checking on the Tweetdeck every 5 minutes just to communicate randomly with the Twitter friends. :(
I even miss hanging out in front of the television at home doing nothing at all. Or watching TV series on my iPad. Yeah.. I have downloaded two episodes of Revenge, four episodes of Glee, three episodes of New Girls and few others and they are still in my waiting list to be watched. . Haishh.
I miss lying down on the bed reading my favourite book.
And the thing that I miss the most is blogging! I have so much to tell but I'm too busy to blog. :(
I need the time on my own.
I just have to get through with THIS, and then I'll have all the time I needed, insyaAllah. And then I'll do massive update to this blog.
In the meantime, I hope I pray that everything will go well. Semoga semua urusan dipermudahkan Allah. Aminnnn~
p/s: Thanks Baiti and Hanie for the surprise you guys arranged last Saturday. Suka sangat! Love u guys a lot!!!

Eskimos and penguins
In the ISO 9001:2008 training I attended today, the trainer asked us a (very tricky) question.
We were trying hard to think of the answers, and some that came out were:
- Eskimos need penguins to help find source of food
- There is a rule/act that penguins are endangered species, so cannot be killed
- Penguins are to cute to kill
..and so on and so forth.
Obviously we were wrong.
So, do you know why the Eskimos don't kill penguins?
Why Eskimos don't kill penguins?

So, do you know why the Eskimos don't kill penguins?
Because the Eskimos live in the north pole (Arctic) while penguins live in the south pole (Antarctic).
Yes, I feel that stupid.

My reception pelamin
Me being me, always want something that is different from others. Not that I'm being choosy, more to unique I would say :P When the wedding finally came into reality and the planning started, I just can imagine my wedding to be full of creative-DIY-things. I'm so glad I have a mum that accept me as who I am and let me decide of what I want. Hehe.
Hence I decided to choose a pelamin without all the fresh flowers like all the other girls dream of. Mine was very.. different. Well not that different since dah ramai pengantin use this kind of pelamin anyway. Huhu.. I remember seeing the pelamin I like from a friend's photo of her sister's friend's wedding (ok panjang gila connection hahaha). So I Google and search through Facebook and blablabla and I finally came across the Filmshortartifact.
Mail them requesting for quotation, having hard time making decision (looking at the price thinking if I could or could not afford it) discussing with mummy and thinking again - cut the story short - I decided to hired them to make my reception pelamin. Meet them, Haidar and Azney, in person to discuss about the details. They were very helpful very nice to deal with.
And the result of the ideas and their hardwork....
I present to you...
Cantik tak? Cantik tak? XD
And here's the details of the pelamin...
So. Cakap cantik please. By the way, they also designed and prepared the walkway, main entrance and the main table for me.
The main table
The main entrance
The walkway
And one of my best friends who was also the emcee for my wedding wrote this on her blog:
"Being part of her wedding reception was the best. The whole interior design, her dais, her dress and the rest of the details represented her. Nonoi was known as a very creative friend of mine. She used to give me birthday card with Salman Khan's pic (sbb masa tu rasa Salman Khan tu sgt hot la ;p Now, so not!). Then when I moved to Science Muar, she sent me letters and the envelope was made out of McD paper, the burger wrap up, boleh? That is so her. So happy that she finally married to a man that understands her, accepts her for who she is. Dear Julia, may your marriage bless to akhirat! =)"
Awwwww :')
Thank you Haidar and Azney for giving me such a lovely decoration for my wedding and make me happy. I am so in love with my pelamin that the picture of it is my phone wallpaper now. :p
Wish to have this kind of decoration for your wedding?

Thank you, 2012
You've been good to me.
There might not be a lot of things happened in my life in 2012 as compared to the others. But that few things that happened in the last one year are the important highlights of my life.

The day I was conferred the Master of Science (Polymer Engineering).
Alhamdulillah. I am happy to see my mom's happy face during the graduation day. I think maybe she didn't think I could finally graduate after the very long time to finish the thesis and viva plus all the problems I faced during the research study. -__-"
19 October 2012
The day my status changed from Cik to Puan.
We were strangers, became friends.
We shared our laughters and interest and hassle.
We then became a very best of friends.
Thing happens for a reason, they say.
We fall for each other.
Less than a year, we were engaged.
After another 6 months, we tied the knot.
Thank you, Allah, for sending him to be my imam... in solat and in life.
And to end my 2012, I've made one big decision which will affect my future.
I hope I made the right decision. After the istikharah, it is now time for tawakkal.
I'm looking forward to the whole new year.
Bring it on, 2013!
There might not be a lot of things happened in my life in 2012 as compared to the others. But that few things that happened in the last one year are the important highlights of my life.

Blogger for iPhone
I've downloaded the Blogger for iPad for quite some times now but haven't give it a try yet. Now that I'm in the car, so bored waiting for my husband coming back from work so we can go back to parents-in-laws' place, let me try this Blogger for iOS specifically iPhone. Hehe.
Hope this application is useful so I dont have reasons to leave my blog not updated for a long time. Hehe. But reading the reviews of this apps, I think it is not that user friendly. But lets just give it a try and see how it turn out to be. Ok hubby's here! Daaa!

Umrah 1434H
Alhamdulillah .. Allah granted us the opportunity to fly thousands of miles to become guests of His home, Baitullah, once again. The happiness and joy that can't be described. The pounding and nervous feelings still arise, more over when it was nearer to the departure date. I went to the Umrah trip with the two most important person in my life - my mother and my husband - and with my aunt and her family.
We departed to Jeddah by Saudi Air on Saturday 16 February 2013. We spent three nights in Madinah before we go to Makkah.
Masjid Quba'
The first and oldest mosque in the world - built by prophet Muhammad s.a.w
One of the hadith on Masjid Quba':
"Prophet Muhammad s.a.w said: Whoever makes ablutions at home and then goes and prays in the Mosque of Quba, he will have a reward like that of an 'Umrah."
(Hadith is reported by Ahmad ibn Hanbal, Al-Nasa'i, Ibn Majah and Hakim al-Nishaburi.)
Jabal Uhud
The mausoleum of the syuhada of Battle of Uhud
The dates market
The Quran factory
The Prophet's Mosque - Masjid Nabawi
During sunrise. Subhanallah...
We left Medina for Makkah on the fourth day and stopped by Masjid Bir Ali for miqat for our first umrah.

Husband shaved his hair for tahalul after the first umrah. Photo taken after our second umrah. :)
Jabal Ar-Rahmah, Arafah
The place where Adam and Hawa were reunited after they split for hundreds of years.
The camel farm
After the Friday prayer
Tannaim
Miqat for our fourth umrah.
At 3 o'clock in the morning

Insya Allah, with his bless and permission, we will be back. Amin...
